Idoc for quotation

Hi experts,

I am new to idocs, Requiremnt is to send the idoc having quotation no to the external sys ( out bound ).

i have tried but i cld only find idoc for sales order which is orders--. somehow i cld not locate the idocs for quotation

if someone has already worked on the idoc for sales quoatation wld request you to suggest.

I have also tried to search on sdn for the above mentioned requirement but was not successful

your help will be appreciated.

Hi,

We too have a similar requirement.We have done this one by using the output type.

Create a new output type for your item.

Use the medium as "6(EDI)" and program as "RSNASTED".

FORM routine as "EDI_PROCESSING".

Assign the partner function as "LS(Logical system)".

Maintain the condition records.

If you create a sales order,automatically this out put type will be processed.

Goto the T.Code "VA03".Enter the order number.Select your item.

Click on Extras>Output>Item-->Edit.

Select that entry.Click on Processing log.Make a note of that IDOC number.

Goto the T.Code "WE02" and enter the IDOC number.Execute.

Here you can check status and what values are passed.
