Stock posting problem

Dear gurus

I wish to post partial quantity but after UD total quantity is posted by default.

For example - total parts 10, I have to post only 7 to unrestricted stock and remaining 3 quantities should to be post quantity

But at present even I post 7 parts all the parts (10) are posted to unrestricted stock

What settings I have to do? Kindly help

Hi

This may be because of the stock posting praposal in selected set in QS51-->for the selected set of catlog 3.

in customization check (QS53)>UD code> against AF-->VMENGE01" I=Unrestricted USe."

this actually depends upon the customization.So what you can do you can have AP(Partial Acceptence ) UD code & do not mainatin the Stock posting praposal.
