Jcontrol.exe is on "Stopped,Instanced disable" 's status

Hi Guys,

I did NW04 installation(SAP AS JAVA and Portal) on Microsoft Cluster

environment and everything was ok.I instaled SCS (Cluster) ,CI(on Node A), DI(on Node B),after that I did upgrade AS JAVA on CI to Stack 15

and it's good,too. But when I try to upgrade DI to Stack 15,it was fine until step 17(START J2EE) and stop there ,because Jcontrol.exe's process is in "Stopped,Instanced disable" status.

I try to run jcmon but it tells me

"Can't open shared memory administration (rc=3)".

I stop my installation and I restart the server,but I cannot bring the

Jcontrol.exe on "All process running" status.

by the way on Node A (CI) "Jcontrol.exe" is running on "All process running [Safe Mode]",

I'm just wonddering is there anyway that I bring these 2 jcontrol.exe process on "All process running" status.

Hi,

this might be caused by the safe mode that has been set durign the upgrade. Check <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/43/1c3e6811a52d23e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm">this</a> page and see if manually switching safe mode off will solve the problem.
