Issue is very critical. Please respond.

Using ECC 6.0, standard SAP WM. Trying to use Dynamic Cycle counting. Here is what I am seeing.

I am creating inventory documents using LI01N and assigning a range of bins.

Running Transaction LM60. Enter Storage type (XYZ) and Scan Bin (XYZ-101).

Scenario 1: When there are no open transfer orders in storage type for any bins, the system brings up the screen to display the quant info for bin XYZ-101 and asks me to enter the quantity. I hit save and the inventory count has been entered. The inventory document is still active i.e the bin is not cleared.

Scenario 2: If there are open TO's in the storage type for any bins, the system brings up a message " STORAGE TYPE XYZ is not setup for DYNAMIC CYCLE COUNTING".

Question 1: For scenario 1, why is the bin not getting cleared? In DCC, the bin should be counted and cleared via RF. I should not be executing LI20 to clear the bins.

Question 2: For Scenario 2 to work what all do i need to do?

In the forums I have read, the DCC config needs to be setup? Where do i set this? Do I have to install any extension set or anything else to make this work?
