Availability control check for newly created projects

Dear Experts,

I have created tolerance limit for projects 100% i.e if it exceeds budget it should through error message and it should not allow any values to that project. It is working fine for all the projects but it is not working for the projects created in this new year please

advise.

Hi

Please check if the status AVAC exists for the WBS element in question. The status should be active. Based on your budget profile settings, the status can ativated automatically or manually after original budget is alloted the WBS element.

Thanks for the information.

But the Status for the wbs element in question is having availablility control (AVAC) still for wbs element is allowing to post even if it exceeds the budget. please advise.

Check whether the cost element is exempted in OPTK.
