DP PIR to PPDS

Hi Gurus,

Actually i am trying to release DP results to PPDS as PIR and with release transaction i had released forecast as PIR to PPDS.My questions is where i can see the data ?

I have MTS scenarios in that my process is Demand driven. i am planning to take PIR and create plan for 4 weeks rolling schedule.In order to plan and fix my plan i need to consider production constrains ( rolls for production, inventory of raw mater) .

How i can i fix my monthly plan by just considering PIR and how to configer?

Can any one please explain me clearly i can fulfill the config needs. It will be clear if you explain me in detail

Hi Raj Kumar,

1) You can configure and use the planning area 9ASNP02

2) You use time bucket profile to configure and view the

planning data as you desired (2 weeks should be present)

3) Maintain the global settings for PPDS in customisation

4) Maintain all the relevant fields in PPDS tab of material

master (especially all fields under horizons)

Regarding your second query

1) You could see your inventory (stock) data either in

R/3 using transactions like mb52, mb53 etc., or in APO

in /sapapo/rrp4 transaction

Hi Rajkumar,

You can see inventory also in product veiw by filtering order category stock.

But Instead of checking inventory manually and if it is not available then create planned order you can take planning(heuristic run)

SAP_PP_002.

YOu can also check detail plan in /SAPAPO/RPT1.

Follow following steps.

1. In product master enter heuristic as SAP_PP_002 for both raw material and finished product.

2. Go to /SAPAPO/rpt1 or /SAPAPO/RRp3 or /SAPAPO/PPT1 use version 000, time profile sap001(from previous 2months to future three months) to check forcast.

3. Go to /SAPAPO/PPR enter planning version 000, time profile SAP001 and run planning run for products with MRP type X0.

4. To see detail plan go through /sapapoPPT1/, /SAPAPOCDPS0,1,2,3.

Hi Rajkumar,

You can see PIR released in APO Product veiw (/SAPAPO/RRP3)

To fix the plan you can mention planning time fence from the product master. Normal planning heuristic like lot for lot planning will consider planning time fence. It will fix the orders within 4weeks from todays date(if planning time fence=4weeks) so that automatic planning will not change the plan.

Hi Gurus,

Can any one please let me know what are PPDS config steps involved.

1. I wanted to see detail plan for 2 weeks?

2. Where i can see my inventory of my raw material yard.i mean to say that when i pla for production i need to check my inventory first and if available then go and create planned order.

It will be really great if any one can guide me
