how to find organisation level details of Material.

Dear all,

I wanted to know if i have only Material number with me. Then where and how do i look for all the details of that material , such as plant, sales org, dis channel etc.

Please if anybody can let me know as early as possible.

Either you can go with already suggested proposals. That is

1) Go to 16 => key in table MVKE => Maintain material code and execute.

2) TCode MM02 / MM03 => select sales views and press F4 against the Distribution Channel

On the other hand, you can also view via MM50

In my organisation I am not alowed to use mm50.....(that's a shame) . But any way thanks for letting me know about those useful tables.

You can see which sales org the material is assigned in the table MVKE.

Plant related details can be found in the table MARD, MARC.

When viewing material master, when you just press F4 in the sales org field, after selecting the views you want to see, it will give you the sales orgs to which the material is extended.

some time if u do F4 , by default it does not show all the details required.But many thanks for sending me all those relevant table........let me know if there are more important or useful table releted to Material.
