Hello,
we are going to install a new system out of our live system.
External consultants will be able to access the new system and so we want to make special data anonymous.
Our idea: add dummy values to all fields like names, addresses, phone#, fax#, email-addresses using an ABAP.
Following data should be anonymous:
- business partners and changelogs
- HR master data
- archive links
- cost center data
- text lines in FI, CO and MM postings
=> IMHO following tables need to be updated: KNA1, LFA1, ADRC, ADRP, ADR2, ADR3, ADR6, PA0001, PA0002
Any further ideas?
Has anybody ever done the same and could provide the coding, please?
Thanks & Regards
Matthias
Hello,
We use TDMS a standard SAP product to scramble sensitive data in DEV and QA environments after a full system copy of production.

Also look on the SAP Market place for SAP Notes via keywords : data, scrambling.
Success.

Hi,
After a system copy from our ECC6 production system, we do crypt the employee names from HR master data.
HR master data from the SAP team is simply deleted !
We also delete the whole SAP spool because there is usually a payroll to be found there...
And yes, everyone has signed a confidentiality agreement....
Regards,
Olivier

Usually consultants sign a confidentiality agreement on contract.
