Hi All,

All this time we didnu2019t have a problem when printing. But suddenly from last month we get an error message called u201C(SAP)LPD was started, but connection not possibleu201D in the output Request when observed through SP01. What happens is when print command is issued the SAP Printer Daemon starts but no job appears. What we do is Log Off windows & re-log then it works perfectly. This happened to only one PC which has windows XP with service pack 2 installed. The Output device is configured using access method F and it was working perfectly all this time. Any idea to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sri

Hi,

It seems that the PC is infected with virus or trojan,

I had similar past experience, in which virus use to block rpc communication and due to this remote printer was not accessible.

When you restart the pc all services are initialized again and for some time you can communication over the network.

It may not be SAP related issue, but either VIRUS or operating system's issue,

Check RPC and Workstation service mainly...

Sounds like a problem with a corrupted file in the SAPGui... uninstall and reinstall the Gui that should fix the issue.
