It is normal like how you are creating the other objects like data typ, msg type,....

select the namespace --> right click --> create fault message type by giving the name. Once you give the name then click on create then automatically predefined fault message structure comes (it is like already available fault msgs in PI7.0 or XI 3.0).

If you want you can use the standard fault message also, check this link

Hi

We can cretae FMT in similar way as u create data type. Go to your namespace right click and select new,

Under create Objects -> Interface Objects -> Fault Message Type is ther.
