copy control

Hi

in copy control i want to copy inquiry to quotation also i want the price date to be get copied so that my price get reflected in my quotation unlike manully giving the price date at the quotation level

Hi,

Go to VOV8 tcode and for your order type (QT) look for the field Prop/f.pricing date and give the option as you want.

Hey Vinz ,

Go to VTAA.

In target sales document type you enter the sales doc type of your Quotation. In Sales document type you enter doc type of Enquiry. Hit enter.

Select that line and click on Items. In Item category you enter the item category of Enquiry.hit enter.

Double click on this item category. you will be taken to a screen where actual copy control is maintained.

In that screen ensure the following parameters :

Target sls doc. type will be your sales doc type of Quotation

Source sls doc. type will be your sales doc type of enquiry

Proposed item categ. will item category in Quotation

Item category will be item category in Enquiry

DataT : 151 --- General item data

DataT : 102 --- Bus.data/item compl.

DataT : 002 --- 2 Partner item

Copying requirements : 301

Update document flow = 2

by this copy control setting you will be able to achieve youtr target.
