Deployment Status unknown

Hello,

I checkout and checkin,activate my changes for Webdynpro Java Applications in NWDS. But after running the Activation process...the Activation status shows as Succeeded but the Deployment status shows as 'Unknown' with a Question mark..my question is why the Deployment status is not shown as Succeeded....

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

If you are using NWDI then you need to configure the runtime system for the track. While defining runtime systems you have the option called auto deployment, once you do this when ever you activate the activity it will build and deploy it in the configured runtime systems.

Thanks for the reply..we have already configured runtime systems for the track. And set the Auto Deployment option 'ON' but still after Activation ...the Question mark symbol appears....

Hi Shikhil,

You can always check in the CBS-WebUI the status of your requests and activations.

Select the Request Id and in the context menu click on "Show in CBS WebUI".

NWDS not always refreshes the list of Actrivation Requests correctly.
