credit memo generate in case of free goods

Hi,

While doing reference for credit note from billing,the main item is copying but for free item,its giving message like "Credit memo request already exists for 000020:10.000 BAG" and quantity is not copying for only free item.I am doing credit note first time for this billing.

But why you need credit note for free item, as you have not changed any thing from customer for free item, in this case there is no need of credit memo created for free goods.

Hi,

Sorry Not for Free Items.I am talking about schemes.If main or shemes products is not delevired.Client wants to Raise credit note for those products with reference of billing document.

Hi,

you are doing credit memo with refrance to billing document, Now what ever be the product in billing document that can be copied in credit memo (Through selection list you can change qty).
