PGI Issue

Hi Experts

We have issue at delivery where PGI is not happening becoz the delivery date is 28 12 2009 the confirmed quantity is 2 and there were cancellations of Material Docs and the the user is trying to post the goods 06.01.2010, what could have been reasons for not allowing the PGI , Please help me on this.

Can you share the Error & the message No.while doing PGI as it could be Z message also.

The stock has been posted in the current month and you are trying the PGI in previous month,kindly check the same

if you want more analysis kindly check the MB51 -tcode

First you just check the stock as per the organization structure & also check any open delivery pending for PGI with the same material.

Also share the Message Number getting while PGI.

Hi,

Check the material availability on the date of GI . You can post the GI on the back date also if the MM posting period is not closed for December 2009 ,

Hi,

If materail is confirmed in 2009, but you are delivering it in 2010, Please reschedule the sales order.

t-code - V_V2

Put material & plant also remove tickmark from simulation >>> execute.

Now go to sales order >>> schedule line tab & see confirm date is current date.

Then go for delivery.

Go to VA02, key in the sale order and execute. Double click on material code and go to schedule line tab. Check on what date the stock is confirmed. May be you can redo availability check and see whether the date under confirmed quantity tab is changing.

The confirmed quantity is on 28.12.2009 in the order and in the delivery PGI is not hapening where he is tryint to do it on 06.01.2010, there were some Material Odcs cancelled and posted mean while user tried to cancel the Materila DOc and posted the new one even then it is not hapening , please help me to know how to go on this.

Hi,

Please change the PGI date in delivery according to your material document posting date, system will allow the PGI, you may post the PGI in past date as well depends upon availibility of material.

Hi,

The reason here, material is not available on dt. 06.01.2010 (Material doc is not posted on such date), hence system is not allowing the PGI. User need to check the material availbilty through MB52 and then do the PGI by changing the date of PGI in outbound delivery (Vl02n).

If problem still not solved, pl post the error message user received at the time of PGI.
