TP Ended with return code 0212

Hello experts,

I've a problem in BW with releasing a program. I've got this error message; "Test call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0212". Here I'm pasting the Diagnosis section;

Diagnosis

Your transport request could not be exported, since all requirements were not fulfilled.

Calling the transport control program tp

"tp EXPCHK EWTK903486 pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_EWP.PFL -Dtransdir=/usr/sap/tr"

which checks the export requirements, returned the following information:

Return code from tp: 0212

Error text from tp: ERROR: Could not open file /tmp/dev_tp_5147 for wr

WHat do you recommend me to do? How can I solve this problem?

Could not open file /tmp/dev_tp_5147 for writing

I presume it could be a permissions issue, did you check that the file exists?

Yeah. I've just realised that we had a system restart yesterday and that machine has given some errors about permissions when setting up. Restarting BW Test system again may solve it?

Dear,

Every time restart will not help for file permissions set to original. Few cases in UNIX environment, after restart of the system some of directories will be owned by root.

Please check the files permissions before importing transport request.
