SAP Netweaver BW7.0 to Netweaver BW7.02

Hi all,

in my system it is installed SAP Netweaver 2004s with the support package level of

Component Release Level

SAP_ABA 700 0017

SAP_BASIS 700 0017

PI_BASIS 2005_1_700 0018

SAP_BW 700 0019

BI_CONT 703 0000

to connect to XCELSIUS, the system needs to be Netweaver 7.0 Enhancement Pack 1 service pack 5(or Netweaver 7.02).

How do i upgrade my system to the same. and what are the steps to apply enhancement packages.

I have got the same message when I start Xcelsius 2008, and my BI_CONT is "703" level "0005"

Any idea to allow the connection to my SAP BW system?

Please check the below notes .this will help you to upgrade your system to netweaver 7.1.

Note 1293744 - Central Note: Upgrade Systems on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EHP1 SR1

Note 1293745 - Add. info.: Upgrade to SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EHP 1 SR1 (ABAP)

Note 1248905 - SP Equivalence for update/upgrade to EHP 1 for SAP NW 7.0

Please also be informed that there is nothing called 7.2 its only 7.1 .

hi,

while installing xcelsius 2008 the error is coming that ;

The system you are currently connected to is not BW 7.02 or newer. Please disconnect and choose a different system.

what should i do den?

if there's nothing as BW 7.02 then why is dis error coming??

Check your BI_CONT component in system.Make is as 7.03 .

Dear Priya,

In order to upgrade your system to EHP1 SPS5. You have to follow complete upgrade procedure. For this you need to study upgrade guide.

Check below notes for same to get an overview:
