Creating tax code in SD

Hello , is it possible to create a tax code in SD or only MM?

Dear Antish,

All Tax Codes are created thru FTXP which is a FI T-Code.

Obviously, as Taxes are releted to Accounts & Finance the tax Codes are created thru FI module (i.e. FTXP).

Only thing that classify the Tax Code between SD & MM is the Tax Type i.e. Input or Output.

For MM you use InputTax Codes & for SD you use Output Tax Codes.

Dear,

Tax Code has to be created for both MM and SD.

MM Tax Code is known as INPUT TAX and SD Tax Code is known as OUTPUT TAX and both are created through Tcode: FTXP

Need further clarification revert back.

Hi,

No, ypu can only able to create Tax categories & Tax class in SD or MM, t-code OVK3 & OVK4

Tax codes are created in FI, by t-code FTXP
