Hi,

Please open period for 001/2010 using t.code OB52 - (Financeial Period). As this is looks like the new year period is not opened for chart of account. in t.code OB52 Choose your Account type S and open the posting period for finance.

MMPV- (Material Management) is used to close the material management period, if issue come for investory, and use t-code MMPI to Open the period.

regards

Vivek.

Go to OB52 and check whether you have maintained as follows:-

Plant=>S=>ZZZZZZZZZZ =>01=>2009=>12=>2010=>12=>2010=>18=>2010

thanks

G. Lakshmipathi

Note:- I am not sure whether 18 or a different value should be there as right now, I dont have access to SAP

Hi,

Check if you have opened the ranges for FI documents. Check with tcode FBN1. If you must create them, do it with tcode OBH2. Check the periods for Profit Centers, Cost Centers and so on.
