CUP v5.3 - Password Self Service - Automated Account Unlocks

Hello everyone,

Someone has mentioned an Automated Account Unlock capability, but I do not know where / how to configure this functionality. I am setting up Password Self Service and I want for the user's ID to automatically be unlocked once they answer their challenge questions and reset their password. Is this done in CUP or in the SAP backend? How is it done?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If the users account is locked, it will be automatically unlocked by CUP when the password is being reset,

No configuration required. Try it.

So what if the account is locked by an Administrator? Will it allow the users to unlock themselves?

Hello,

I had this doubt too. But I tested it right now and could not reset password using Password Self-Service when user is blocked by administrator.

I am at CUP 5.3 SP 18.
