Cloning of DMS environment (as it is Window)

Hello Experts,

DMS system (SAP Content Server + Documents stored in file system) is windows now need to clone using a back up and restore and changing the network settings appropriately.

Currently we are having DMS SAP content server only for Production environment, next we have to clone Content server + Documents stored in file system and connect to Development and Quality systems.

Need to understand how this is done? My technical team will carryout this activity but first i have to understand so that i can handle their queries.

Can you help in providing step by step procedure and any special attention should be carried out for this?

Backup/Restore should be fine if you take care of the IIS specific settings.
