We are implementing SRM 7.0 As you are well aware, there is no ABAP+Java option for SRM at release 7. When configuring Adobe Document Services it makes sense to me to have it hosted on the Portal (which is already running ADS) rather than on a separate SRM Java instance. All user interaction with SRM will be through the portal anyway. ADS can be configured on any Java system, but I am thinking we may not need to dedicate resources for an SRM Java system that will likely only be utilized for ADS.
I was wondering if I could get some insight from the two of you on this subject.
