Unable to transport Backend Push Function

Former Member

we are using SAP NW mobile 7.1.0 SP08

we have created a backend adapter with instance push function.

now we are in progress of transporting the scenarion to another server.

when i checked the instance push function module it is assigned to a function group zdoe<push function name>_fgr, we are not able to transport this to the other system.

is it that the push function will get generated in the other system after importing the request ?

Thanks and Regards,

Joseph Beevin.

Hi,

if you add the name of the Push Adapter to the Backend Adapter - it usually asks you for a transport Request as you save this - only if the adpater is only added to a transport request you will not see that.

Cause you do not do any editing or so in that funktion modulke and it is created automatically, it is fine not to add the auto generated classes as such into any transport request.

So basically: based on your Data Object, this structure is created dynamically and automatically on the device and it will as well be created after you have transported the Backend adapter with the information that there is a PUSH adapter with that name.

Hope this helps to understand the concept behind.

Hi,

Yes its generated function module. You dont need to transport it. It will be generated automatically when you transport the model to target system.
