Please delete/remove your SLD_UC rfc using SM59 transaction first

Then use RZ70 to re-deploy ABAP level of component/system information to SLD.

Hi Shahid,

Set the env variable CPIC_MAX_CONV to 5000 in the .login profile file located in the home folder of <sid>adm.

Restart SAP instance.

Try SLDCHECK again.

Cheers......,

Hi Shahid,

Please first whether RFC - SLD_UC working or not? As per your post this rfc not work but still please check exclusively using SM59 transaction.

because, for RZ70 to complete deploying the system, software component information into SLD ...this rfc should work.

Shahid,

Your CPIC_CONV is still taking the default value , set the parameter in .sapenv_<hostname>.csh and .sapenv_<hostname>.sh

Once set you will require to restar the app for the environment variable to take effect.

Also

1) Trying pinging both the RFC's from SM59. IF the test ping fails then

2) Check whether the SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC are running under Jco RFC Provider: Jco RFC Destinations

you can get there from NWA->Jco RFC Provider

Also check the details of their for both the RFC's , expecially the userid ,password , app server host etc..

Hi Shahid,

It seems you have issue with RFC LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI.

However make sure following configuration is also done

1> SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration -> Edit -> Change Global Configuration Data -> Maitain your integration server (PI system). In our landscape we maintained "Corresponding Integration Server as Dest://<SID>_INTEGRATION_SVR

(SID os SLD)

2> RFC of type 'H' to <SID>_INTEGRATION_SVR. (SID of SLD)

3> Create RFC of type 'T' for LCRSAPRFC, SAPSLDAPI.

4> Maintain entry of SLD in IDX1

5> Maintain entry of SLD in SALE

Shahid,

In addition to note mentioned by Jaun,

Please restart your SLD in SLD > Administration. I was getting RFC Error

0: sapdevpi_DPI_00 : RFC call failed: Error when opening an RFC connection

0: sapdevpi_DPI_00 : Batch job not scheduled

I restarted SLD and then checked, it's working fine.

You are getting - RFC call failed: Error when opening an RFC connection

Check the Gateway in Transaction SMGW GOTO-> Logged on clients check the Host and Port number for SAPSLDAPI then check the connection Test and compare with SM59 RFC destination SLDAPICUST.

if not matching correct the entry in SM59 then do the RFC connection Test if it fail get help from Basis team.

1. Check the configuration in Transaction SLDAPICUST.

2. SLD is running ? Check with browser http://<Host(suffix with system number)>:<Port>/sld for yours http://sapdevpi

:<Port number>/sld

3.Check the Transaction RZ70 with Automatic RFC destination. ensure without error.

Just check the Link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/78/20244134a56532e10000000a1550b0/content.htm
