client copy error

hi

i have installed ides. i have created client 300 and copy from ddic .

and loged in 300 client sap*, i have created new user in 300, assigning role sap_all but there is no showing sap_all role

While doing client copy which profile have you selected, is it sap_ucus

client is created from sap* 300, and i login in 300 sap* and password is PASS,

i run command sccl and pick profile from clien 000 ddic, i picked sap_all

So you have picked proflle sap_all while performing Client Copy

Can you confirm in transaction SCC3 that your client copy was successful. In the meantime can you also confirm that you have assinged logical name to new client.

when i check scc3 there is giging status test cancelled.

double click on cancelled

So you client copy didn't run successfull.

Perform the same again in TEST mode first and then in normal mode once completed with sap_all profile you will be able to assigned sap_all profile for user in your new client.

i am picking profile from client ddic 000 and sap_all. Is it right to pick profile .

there is asking some option

Local Client copy

a test run canbe performed to

-simulate a copy run all data is read but not saved in the database

- carry out a resoure analysis

The data is only counted, without being read directly it is quicker than simulation

Yes it is right to pick from those profiles.

Above mentioned are different options in Client copy

Its depend on you do you wish to perform a Resouce check or simulation check

this is common issue with client copy so please do the client copy in background mode .

Have you set profile parameters after installation ?

Above errors may occur if work process runs for a long time...

please set the profile parameter in Instance Profile. After that restart SAP and do the client copy again...

rdisp/max_wprun_time = 15000 (or above)

it will not gives you that error again...

What Happened?

The current ABAP program had to be terminated because the ABAP processor detected an internel system error.

The current ABAP program "TF506" had to be terminated because the abap processor discvered an invalid system state.

Error Analysis

the generated(LOAD) version of the ABAP / 4 program "TF506" contains a format error. Possible cause are as follows:

1) the line of table D010L with the key PROG = "TF506" has been changed, either with abap / 4 native SQL or by other means. restarting the program cause.

it to be regenerated.

2) the tables D010L or D010lINF have been destroyed in the database and must therefor recreated.

Yes Go Ahead once done with profile sap_all you will receive all data of 000 client to your new client, if you are performing same from 000.

now i ran again client copy in normal mode in background mode,

now it is giving status successfully completed

but when i creat a new user and give him sap_all role

still there is not showing sap_all role.

Even after successfull client copy it's not showing is a question

In the meantime can you confirm you are logged on to corrrect client and performing correct steps.

Google is best help for same.

You have profile sap_new, sap_all , ides_all for same.

Hi Rajesh,

Its strange,...

But you can check whether sap* user is assigned with SAP_ALL profile.

If yes then you can create new user using "COPY" function in SU01 (Button beside Create button) . (Button beside Create button) Give source user SAP* and then select all check box for all option.

Then see if newly created user has "SAP_ALL" profile assigned...
