Solution manager Support Package 19 & 20

Dear Expert,

Recently I installed the solution manager,

But there is one DVD call Support Package 19 & 20,

I'm not sure how to upgrade the package to SLM.

As I knew,

there is a folder call "DATA",

I tried to used SAPCAR tool to decompress it into usr...EPS/in folder.

and the .SPA file use JSPM tool to update it to the SLM system.

but....when i used SAPCAR to decompress , it showed a error message below.

SAPCAR: could not convert from UTF8 string

Can any one helps me ?

And What is the SOP to update SPS 19~20??

Hello Jack,

I also installed SolMan 7.0 EHP1 (same as SP18). When I was in the configuration phase, there's so many SAP Notes to read and to follow for corrections. Based from the notes, you cannot used correctly the automatic basic settings configuration through tcode SOLMAN_SETUP. You have to apply first the corrections or apply the latest support package. Then before applying the corections, there are prerequisite notes that must be applied first. Based from what I read to relevant notes on SP18, it looks like, there's so many program error. Have you already applied latest SP level?

If you are getting errors from sapcar I'd recommend to first check to get the latest sapcar version and if it does not hep to redownload the file
