How sampling inspection can be handled in SAP.

What are the steps to achieve this?

Hi

1.Create sampel in QPR1

2.release the sample

3.activate inspection type 15 for the material for which you are creating manual sample

4.go to QPR5

5.enter material & F8

6.Click on Inspection lot

7.save

8.in qa32 check lot of 15 is created

9.take RR & UD

Hi,

I am getting this error,

Diagnosis

There is no inspection point type for physical samples entered in the task list header.

However, this inspection point type is a prerequisite for inspection lot origin "15".

System Response

The system could not complete the creation of the inspection lot.

Procedure

1. In the task list header, enter the inspection point type for physical samples.

2. To correct the error in the inspection lot, choose Change inspection lot and trigger the task list selection and sample calculation again.

i have defined freely defined inspection point(100) in QP01

Hi,

You have to define inspection point as "200 Inspection point for phys. sample"

Hi

Not only you have to define Inspection point related to sample mgt but also sampling procedure related to "sample mgt "( radio button in QDV1)

You have to assign sampling procedure against each char/mic

Then assign the task list agian

it will work

Repeatedly i getting the same error

You cannot record any characteristic results for this inspection lot. The material master has been set up for the existing inspection type in such a way that results recording is not supported.

for any kind of inspection

What criteria is missing in material master?

Please click on sample tab & sample calculator in QA02.This will assign the sample size to the lot.(this will only work if the sampling proce is assigned agaist each mic)

I think you are not able to get the exact sequece of converting the status of the llot from CRTD to REL
