Hi Guru,

while configuring . PI 7.0 to ECC 6.0..i got below error

CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS: Instance already exists

i refered some exsiting thread posted here and followed below steps

from Content Maintaince i deleted all the Installed Product. Then again recreated the Technical System

But i am facing the same problem that CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS:

pls suggest somthing genuine..don post the previous thread as i searched most.

All are only saying delete/Refresh and recreate ..this solution is not working for me..let me know if i am missing some steps

Check note 764176 and 1117249 to see if they help you, your problem probably related to wrong SLD-info.

Hi,

Delete the technical system.

Goto > Administration on main page of sld and than on 'Content Maintenance'.

In the Content Maintenance Page select the Class 'Installed Products (#)' and than delete your system there too.

Then try recreating the system
