Billing based on Catalog weight and not on Actual Picking Qty

Hi All,

Our client requirement is like this for few customers.

Biling has to be based on the Material Catalog weight (standard weight as per the design of the product), and not on the Actual weight of the Material(actual Production weight). How to address this scenario.

Scenario Discription: Discrete Manufacturing Industry- Customer raises inquiry, then technical drawings will be done for the preparation of such Profiles. This ideal weight is called Catalog weight. But when they produce the same Material the actual produced Material (Each piece may vary little.. but finally at the time of dispatch.. some major difference will be there) will be more or less compared to the Catalog weight . As the agreement with the Customer will be for the billing based on Catalog weight.

Will you share your ideas on the same ?

Any body worked in Aluminum Extrusion Industry share your ideas if you have come across similar scenarios.

Hiii

As per my understanding you want to calculate the price based of calalouge weight. I hope you are maintaining the catalouge weight in some table. Create on routine with the help of Abaper T-code VOFM, where you write the code to calculate the price with Catalouge weight and maintain this routine in Altranative calculation type in your pricing procedure against the condition type.

Hi,

Do you create material master for each such material, if yes, then add "Catalog" weight to Mat. Master.

Then create a new pricing condition based on customer and Weight.
