EWM install

Hello Experts,

Can someone please answer the following?

We are currently on ECC 6.0.

If i need to install and use SAP EWM, do I need to install SAP enhancement package 4 for ECC 6.0 or should I buy a license for SAP SCM server and EWM is included in SAP SCM?

You need to have an integration between ECC 6.0 and SCM 5.0,5.1 and provide integration through CIF,BADI and BAPi.So this will be two different boxes and licenses.

EWM can be supported from SAP R/3 4.6 c through ECC 5.0 with the application of Service Pack 06 (SP06)

to my knowledge you do not need to install EhP for installing EWM in the ERP ECC6.0. I believe EWM is compatable with ERP as far as 4.6C so its not mandatory to have the EhPs for the same.

Further more there are 2 deployment options for EWM - 1. As an addon on ERP (which you speak about) and 2. As a part of the SCM stack.

The decision on which one to use is based on business requirements. Further more to the best of my knowledge you would need separate licenses for both deployment options.
