During Inprocess Inspection partial qty confirmation

Hi Experts,

There is a requirement in Inprocess Inspection (for 03) find here the detail.

Ex: Routing Operations

010 Machining

020 Milling

030 Inspection

040 Turning

050 Inspection

060 End Cut

Challenges :

1) Without confirmation of operation 020 system should not allow for result recording.

2) If partial qty accepted system should allow on those qty for further operation 040 confirmation.

3) How many operations inspected, accepted qty operation wise, can we get through std

Dear Shiva

In case of reworks these steps can be adopted

1. There is a functionality in PP which triggers automaticaly rework order when put quantity in the Rework field. This will be of PP03 type of order

2. This rework order will be generaly made of referece operation set and will not be based on any material. But it will have a reference of the parent production order

3. Any goods issue can be done against this order

4. Once rework is done confirm the rework order

Earlier partial qty confirmation issue was resolved but still I am unable to find the solution for inspection lot status

1) Whether previous operation confirmed or not system should display in QA32/33

2) After inspection operation result recording completed pp will confirm further operations then it system should show the operation status in QA32/33 this operation inspection completed.

3) After completion of operation system should show all operation being completed.

My concerned to this issue is

For this status updation in QA32 I am going to take extra fields from QALS we have to give logic for every field (whether previous operations completed or not) and same field we have to include in the QA32/33 layout.

Pls guide me whether I am going wrt are wrong, if yes which fields are suitable for this status updatation

Realy very helpful suggestions thanx, some aditional issue's related to this scenario

1) In 030 operation (Inspection) quality wants to accept partial qty and PP should confirm further ope accepted qty only. This inspection is non stock relevant suggest me how can go for this scenario.

2) How quality will come to now PP has confirmed 020 operation and 030 operation (Inspection) is pending for inspection, bcz in QA32 all lots will be available in different status.

Ex: after 020 operation lot will be under REL after inspection of 030 Insp INSP, then PP will do further operation 040 then next is inspection oper no 050 inspection, during second time all lots will under INSP.

How can segregate these lots kindly suggest

Hi

When 030 is partially confirm it will create 04 insp type lot with REL status.When this operation is confirmed it will become REL with SPRQ with QTy equal to confirmed Qty.

Inprocess inspection scenario almost its working fine thanx for the valuable inputs.

Another challange : After inspection quality and during valuation one screen is appearing (Valuation and Partial lot Assignment) here quality person will put the accepted qty in Yield

and incase of rejection, qty will be Rework.

Specially for Rework what are the options available in std system and how it can done

Best way is to reject that much Qty which you do not want to move ahead.

Your order will open by that much Qty.

Rework the material & again confirm the same.

Go here:

SPRO > Production> Shop floor control> confirmation> define confirmation parameters

Maintain

1)Operation sequence u2013 error when order sequence is not adhered to

2) Over delivery u2013 Error when over delivery tolerance is exceeded

3) Results Rec. (QM)- Error message if no Insp results exist

So what these setting helps is that

1)All operation has to be confirmed operation wise means 0010 has to be confirmed for confirming 0020 operation. SO production guys can only confirm 0040 operations only after 0030 operations is confirmed by quality personal.

2)Over delivery is not allowed means of in 0030 operation if only 50 quantity is confirmed in 0040 operation only 50 can be confirmed. Production people cannot confirm more than 50 quantities

3) Also PP personal cannot confirm operation 0030 through C011N till the result recording of that operation is done through QA32.
