Sampling Procedure

Dear All ,

I have a problem with sampling procedure for the following scenario.

Sample Size is 10% .

Material XYZ will be received in boxes , each box have 1000 PCS . If i received 1 box i have to check 100Pcs for 2 box 200Pcs etc etc.

When i use sample scheme "Lot Size 1 " and " Sample Size 100" to map the above scenario , system is not allowing to do so ..

Is there any other sampling method available to handle the above.Can you please help me to resolve this.

Hi

What s unit of the Inspection lot.Is it units or is it boxes.

If it is units then you can use percentage sampling.that s 10%.

If it is boxes then maintain conversion rule(alternate unit) in material master.such as 1 box = 1000 units.

then check with the sample.

You can also use sampling type as samplng procedure with sampling table in sampling scheme contains the lot size and sample size.here you can mantan table for the lot unit only.
