Former Member

Hi SAP Gurus,

Kindly help me with a simple question that I need to be answered. I've done a DB restoration in another fresh installed SAP server. here is my question

1. Do I need to do SPAM to update its patch OR it was already carried out from its previous SAP server?

2. Why does "from front end" and "application server" INACTIVE?

Thank you in advance.

Joel

Hello Joel,

If the source of the restore had the desired packs applied then those support packs would come in with system copy

Also front end or application server may be coming deactivatt since you may not have been logged on to client 000. For applying support packs you need to be logged into client 000.

Regards.

Hi Ruchit Khushu,

Thank you for the prompt reply, Number one was already answered.

Regarding number 2 question, yes I did logged in client 000 but the selections are inactive. What seems to be the problem?

Thank you.
