Error installing J2EE SP17

I'm not able to install the J2EE SP17.

First appear the tree with the items to be selected for the installation.

Chosing the first one, to Install SP17 on the J2EE Central Instance and pushing NEXT a second empty screen appears.

At the top there is the title 'Welcome', at the bottom there is the message :

'reading ...sapinst-cd/sapinst/unix/aix_64/patch/control.xml'

And it remains blocked here. No logs into the sapinst dir.

The latest .out file from the sapinst_xxxxxxx directory says :

' creating child process ....'

It seems the sapinst is not able to read the control.xml file or is waiting someting.

But we unpacked the files for SP17 in the proper order:

1) sapinst file

2) ctrnl file

3) j2eert file

4) j2eertos file

and the unpacked CD have 777 as permission and are owned by sidadm:sapsys.

There are no disk at 100% full.

Any idea ?

If your installing the unix platform please check whether you have downloaded the patches for the UNIX platform
