pgi not happening

Dear all,

whenever i am doing pgi , getting error period 001 of fiscal year2010 does not exist in table t001b either in period 1 or in period 2 of a table entry with record type "0",yhe selected company code,the account type s &g/l account 893010.the period is therefore not open.plz advice.

Hi,

Open the Fiscal Year for the month of Jan for your Company and check is your MM period closed or not if not then try to close it for the month of Jan2010

1. Use Tcode: OB52 for Fiscal year Opening

2. Use Tocde: MMPV for MM period Closing

1. By using tcode: OB52 you can open your fiscal year against your company code: Ex 1000

here From Period1= 2000 To Perioid 2010

From Period2 = 2009 To Period 2010

Maintain From period To Period to All 6 steps + ADKMS

2. MM Period Closing use tcode: MMPV

Enter your Co.code

enter the month and Year then Execute or Press F8

Hi,

Goto the Transaction code MMPV and open the period 001 for the year 2010 for your company code.

check the transaction code MMRV and MMPV whehter they are same or not.
