Hi Ramya,

For ABAP consultant to work in APO, mainly you need to learn and

focus on working with structures.

Other areas for focus will be Badi's, user exits, function modules,

routines, enhancements which are more or less similar to other modules

Same as that required for regular Reports / Enhancements but in much simpler terms.

You need to know how data is transferred in BW in form of data packets - otherwise the coding in BW routines are simpler.

However its possible to complicate (or simplify depending on how you look at it) things by using ABAP Objects in the routines.
