difference between application associate and application professional

hello gurus

I am rihana. I am planning to do the certification in financial accounting.I have a 3.2 years of experience in sap as fi/co consultant.please tell me the difference between application associate and application professional. please guide me which level i have to take.

Hi Rihana

Associate level is the first examination which every consultant should take.

After gaining 5-7 years of core experience in SAP (in that particular module), you should go ahead for Professional level examination.

Some countries / modules still don't have Professional exam conducted / practiced.

My suggestion for you, looking at your experience and background, is that, you should go for Associate level certification.
