Batch Jobs are in Process since for a very long time ! How to End These ?

Hi All

In our ECC system. One of the user who has scheduled the Batch jobs

on 1st Dec 2009 are still in process status.Neither completing successfully nor

ending in error.

How to deal with these jobs. or cancel.

How to Re run these jobs.

Batch job name: FAGL_FC_VALU

Programme Name: RSBDCBTC, variant &0000000000564, user ID ANANA

Kindly Suggest ?

Hi,

Pls check the job which application it is running on by selecting the job in sm37 and job details.

Pls check the application server where this job is running and check if its doing anything by double clicking the process from sm50/sm51 screen and refresh the screen to see if the values and counters change and analyse if the job is still doing something.

If you suspect its not then in sm37 select the job and in the meny select check status and in a minute you would know if the job is still running or getting canceled.

If the job is still running and you need to cancel or kill it then in sm50 screen as specified earlier just do a can process with core or without core if you don't want to collect any information on the work process.

If it still doesn't get killed then do a end process in sm50 or as a last option kill the process id from OS level.
