Hi all ,
I was trying to update my SPAM form 26 to 37. it was hang in between and I had restart the transaction. now I am not able to use the TX SPAM again.
Now when entry the tx SPAM is throwing an ABAP dump error " Syntax error in program "SAPLOCS_CORE ".
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLSPAM" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
The following syntax error occurred in program "SAPLOCS_CORE " in include
"LOCS_COREU01 " in
line 605:
"Field "GC_TYPE_XML" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified "
"tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. ."

Is this coming with support pack 14 of SAP Basis 701?
Anyways double check if the import is over. What normally would have happened that the system is inconsistent at the moment. Once the support pack import is complete it would become consistent and the dump won't occur. Some include might have got changed but some table fields/structures it might have been referring to may not yet got changed.

Did you try importing the SPAM SP from OS level ?
If not try the below at OS level using <SID>adm user
tp import SAPKD<xxx>37 SID pf=TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL from /usr/sap/trans/bin directory.
