remove the one root only radio button option from your project profile and then check

The "Only one Root button" in project Profile is already unclicked only.

you need to have more than one level 1 WBS elements in your template

also read OSS note 445493 section 5 dependencies

This means that your basic settings for assembly processing are not correctly set up.

Read SAP help or more and also check forum for more information.

Basically you need to ensure -

You have to set up std network and std WBS as templates

material with sales view

assignment between material and std network - txn CN08

Configure requiremetns that allows assembly in sales order - ie to generate network

Once these are done then you can use the SD/PS assignment indicator in the project definition

For this the only other mandatory requirement is that in the project profile the only one root indicator should not be set.

Any experienced PS consultant should be able to set this up for you.

We have done all the necessary settings earlier . We were able to create only one WBS Element per Sales Order but what we need is a WBS Element for every line item in the sale Order.

This is where we are stuck.

Hi Shareeq

I have just been able to replicate this in the standard SAP system with the SD/PS assignment indicator ticked - no error message.

Dear Virendra,

Keep up your good work. My problem is solved now. May God Give you a prosperous and Happy Life.

The Standard WBS should be created with the Edit Mask as the operative project.

I have created a Standard WBS without the edit Mask ( SPRO - OPSJ).

Thanks again for your help.
