visibility of capacity in DP

Hi Gurus,

I have arequirement where client is asking to see capacities at product family levelin DP.

Eg:

my product families : 5R , 6R, 9R

sku: :3000015,3000016,.......

capacities : 5R200 ton, 6R-1000, ....for a month

when Planning in DP for product family when user does adjustments , user want to see that on a particulr month

he cant reach fixed level what mill has fixed for a product family.

Please let me know the solution if any one can help.

Hi Raj Kumar,

Try exploring using DP BoM (either using PPM or PDS) to get the

capacity data

Thanks for your response. Let me explain it clearly

Let see that in order to get finished product -1000 tons DP BOm will say how much we need to produce raw material. But hear for me i asked my question is I have 50,000 capacity of my mill in that depending upon my mill constrains i will fix saying that i cant produce 5r product not more then 1000 and 6r 3000 and 8r -

Can any one can help me how i can get 5R is fixed capacity of mill by 1000 tons in DP? so that any customer forecast if 5R reached more then 1000 tons it should give me alert.Please let me know if any one can help me.

Curious how?

There really isn't a way to view this in DP.

You can transfer SNP Capacity to DP, but how would you convert the demand requirements from PPM to the DP time series?

You can make a bunch of assumptions and load values and use macros I guess.
