User status Link between Sales inquiry and Project in PS

Dear All,

As per our client requirement we need to generate the quotation from the project. So, we decided the process like.

We are created the project from the inquiry then Engineering department will do the cost planning on the same project and after approval of cost planning sales team will generate the quotation for the same and send to customer for approval and the approval from the customer only sales department will create the sales order and do the further procedure.

So in this scenario we need to develop the commutation and controls through User status. So, My problem is that I am not able to do the link between Project and Sales Inquire through User status.

My purposes are for doing this is whenever I will change the user status from project it should be reflected in Sales inquiry also.

I will really appreciate if you could help me to resolve this issue.

I actually can't see the reason why you are wnating to o this. The sales inquiry becomes irrelevant once the project is converted to sales order.

Anyway there is no standard way of linking user status of project with inquiry
