transporting web service

Hi Experts,

I have transported a web service from Dev to QA. Can't find services in SICF Transaction do i need to create again the service or any alternative solution ?

Hello,

Please create End Point for the Service using SOAMANAGER. Once this is done, Web Service will be available in SICF hierarchy.

End points and logical ports created in dev system will not be transported to any system. We've to manually create those in every system. Even endpoint create in one client can't be used in other client (MANDT). These are client dependent and not transportable objects.

Hello,

As mentioned above, this was answered many times. You can not transport End Point configuration for obvious reason of different connection parameters and security requirements in target client.
