Hello Experts,
We have a situation here. We are trying to get the CTM to start planning on 01/01/2010. So we have 2 options
1) Set the Fixed Start Date to 01/01/2010 in the Time Stream (or)
2) Set the Relative Start to -2 or -3 and choose 'Friday' in Start from Day of Week.
Both would give the same results. However there seems to be an internal error in calculating the periods for 01/01/2010. Whenever the system tries to set 01/01/2010 it is not able to recognize the date. It gives errors like "Internal error while calculating periods" or "Invalid Date 00/00/0000". It some how thinks that 01/01/2010 belongs to week 532009 which does not exist.
Question
1) Is there any other way we could ensure planning starts on 01/01/2010 even after having the time stream to start on other dates say 12/31/2009 or 01/02/2010?
2) Is there any known OSS note to fix this problem?
We would really appreciate your two cents here.
Thanks & Regards,
Mani
Hi,
You can try using the 'Order Creation Start' functionality to ensure planning starts from the 01st of Jan (Strategies tab in the CTM profile). We havent seen any issue with modifying time stream to begin on 01/01/2010. Any calendar setting which is causing it? Which version of SCM are you using?
Regards
Vinod
