In performing some cache refreshes, all of the communication channels have gone missing from the communication channel monitor. They still show up in the integration directory though. Can someone help me on how to get these channels back into the monitor?
Thanks!
We had an issue with the systems not being able to connect to the SLD.
Note "SAP Note 1176924 - Entries in Security Audit Log for SLD roles " fixed that issue, then a CPACache refresh solved the channel problems.

Hi
You may please follow below steps and as per i see nothing went wrong.
1. If you have not yet performed full CPACache refresh...you may please perform once again
http://<PI system name>:<http port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
2. after, please execute below URL to re-initialize your RWB (runtime work bench)
http://<PI system name>:<http port>/rwb/rtc?op=init
3. If still you do not see any change, then my last take would be....in ID, please open all your communication channels one by one and put some dummy entry in the description field and activate the channel. You need to perform this for all channels.
revert back if problem persists.

Sekhar

The system is not new and it has been working for a few years.

We have tried restarting both the ABAP and J2EE servers and still no luck. Do you have any other ideas?

Try after restarting the J2EE server.
