Open web dynpro development environment.

Hi

Using transaction se80 we can open web dynpro development environment.

Is there another way to open web dynpro development environment.

The problem I am facing is, after runninf transaction se80 and then selecting repository brower -> web dynpro comp/intf. I am getting following exception.

exception condition cntl_error reaised.

Infact on selecting anything from dropdown I am getting this error !!

So I was wondering if there is another way to open web dynpro dev environment.

Hi,

You might want to check the version of your SAP GUI. It is typical that certain functionalitites will not work with too old SAP GUI version and cause strange dumps.

The web dynpro development should definately work in SE80. I don't know any other way. If someone knows, I would be interested, since I have had a problem that after transporting WD components to another system, they were not visible in SE80 altough the components were there (I knew it since I could launch the corresponding WD applications.
