Error while rebuilding a DC

Hi

I get the following error when I try to rebuild a DC by the name la_parent_dc which has a view ParentDCView in it.

Web Dynpro Generation: java.lang.Exception: Problem running compiled template used for generating C:/Documents and Settings/wb279529/.dtc/4/DCs/worldbank.org/la_parent_dc/_comp/gen_wdp/packages/org/wb/laparentdc/wdp/InternalParentDCView.java: null,

This projected has been activated. I tried syncing the sources but it didnt work. Please help.

Hello Leena

This error is shown because the DC in which you ve declared used components is not able to fetch model classes.

In the Used DC, declare all components including those which contain model classes and then mention its usage in the parent DC. Before doing this, first delete prevously declared public parts and context mappings.

Hello Leena,

Just try the 'Reload' and 'Repair' options provided in the development IDE ( Right click the DC, you will get these options). But not sure whether this will help.
