IDES 6.0 SR3 and PI add-on installation

Hi experts,

I have a question. I have installed the SAP IDES ERP system but now I would like to install Process Integration. Is it possible to install PI to already installed IDES? (add-on installation ??) But I do not want to lose data from the ERP.

Hi,

As per my knowledge, you cannot install PI has a add-on in the existing system. You have to install it as a separate instance.

If the server in which the IDES is installed is having enough hardware resources install it as a separate instance or install it in separate server.
