Hi people,

I´m installing the livecache server but in the step create database instance I get the next message error:

1. Did you create the SAP ticket to the component u2018BC-DB-LVC-INSu2019 on this issue?

2. To get clear on the reported problem please post additional information:

What database software installed on the u2018apou2019 server?

< post the output of the u2018sdbregview u2013lu2019 , u2018dbmcli inst_enumu2019 commands >

Is u2018apou2019 the liveCache server name?

What version of the liveCache are you planning to install?

Did you try uninstall the liveCache/MaxDb software on u2018apou2019 server?

What problem occurred at first & what was done by you before the u2018retryu2019?

Now, you posted the different output from XCMDOUT.LOG.

Did you start the new liveCache server installation?

Did you delete the old installation logs before to run the new liveCache server installation?

As you running the liveCache server installation, you are SAP customer

=> please create the SAP ticket on this issue.

It will be more faster to get clear on the reported installation issues after checking all

Installation logs & the MAXDB logs on the apo server.

Yes, the log is different.

Yes, I started a new installation with different ID of the database, but I get the same error message.

Did you delete the old installation logs before to run the new liveCache server installation?

No, I don´t erase any log. Where can to find the old logs, for erase them

1. As you running the liveCache server installation, you are SAP customer.

Are you SAP customer?

If yes, please create the OSS ticket to get the SAP support, component u2018BC-DB-LVCu2019.

If you already created the OSS ticket, please post the ticket number.

2. In your installation-dir, where the XCMDOUT.LOG file located, you have the sapinst logs.

Did you delete the installation-dir before you started a new installation with different

ID of the database?
