Selected set only for the specific inspection type

Dear Team ,

In our case when the user is giving the UD for a specific plant all the codes in the selected set for all the inspection types are displayed for choice.

We want to configure the system in such a way that when UD has to be given for example 4* lot (type 04) Only the Codes of type 04 should be available to selection .

Kindly advice .

Dear Ram

The selected set you maintain here is not plant specfic and it will not affect any other plants. you may choose any selected from any plant from drop down list . But make sure that the selectedUD selected set is available for all the plants. If you have maintained for inspection type 04 selected set as 04 the same is applicable for all plants. you should have 04 selected set created for all plants

Please revert back in case of any doubt.

1) SPRO> QM > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Creation > Maintain Inspection Types > maintain for the inspection type 04 the UD selected set for you have created for 04 inspection

Thanks alot for the solution thats quite close to what we want . One final question . When we choose that field it gives the whole list of selected set plant wise .

We would like to set the selected set for the inspection type 04 (or any other type) only so that it becomes appplicable to all the plants .Let me explain it .

When we choose 04 we should be able to choose selected sets for 04 only which will be applicable for all the plants(i.e 04 for each of plants as the case may be) . But here we have options of selected sets for 04 for all our plants. 1000 1111, 1114, 1115.

Choosing say 1111 .. How will it affect for other plants.

Please guide.

Please maintain these 2 setting in the config

1) SPRO> QM > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Creation > Maintain Inspection Types > maintain for the inspection type the selected set

2 ) and also tick selected set in same plant in the same config

That will show all the selected sets in the plant . I want to see the specific selected set only as per the inspection type . That is if the inspection lot is 4 series it should show selected sets only for 4 and not for 1 and 8 etc.
