Hi,

I have a problem when i print text element in a window in diffrent system but same SAP Version ECC 6,

The text element in one system is printed correctly like this : Page 1 of 2

in the other system it's look like this : Page ## 1 ## of 2.

The Smart Form developed where the text element is correct and i transfer it to the other system.

IF i open the text elemet in the wrong system i can see there is '#' but i don't know from where it come.

Is this case familiar to anyone?

Thanks in advanced.

Hi,

Check if any additional spaces are ther.If so remove them. Incase you need the spaces then use standard symbols " <032> " in place of space.

Hi,

Try to check the paragraph which is assigned to the text element is present in the wrong systems.

Or

Try to re-transport the request to the wrong system once again.

Such probelms arise when the system will not able to read the char sets.

Hi ,

The paragraph does exit in wrong system.

from your experience you think that <032> will solve the problem?

Thanks.

There's no harm to try, it's used to enforce unicode space character (U+0020). Space may exist in several versions (tab, no-break space, etc.)

Anyway, why don't you first analyze the problem (see my post above) instead of trying all solutions without understanding what happens.

click FIND button, enter "page". You'll find "page .. of .." (it may be "page .. of 00000", that's normal)

Does it happen in print preview?

Could you display the spool in hexadecimal (ctrlshiftF10) and tell us what hexadecimal values correspond to "Page 1 of 2"?
